There has been quite a bit of turbulent weather down here in South East Florida. Storms coming and going and the ocean's kicking up a lot of surf. The beautiful winter weather is almost upon us. The community is beginning to swell with all those seeking shelter from bitter northern winter weather.

Steve Jobs and Apple

The passing of Steve Jobs is very sad indeed. Most creative individuals will tell you that they cannot live without their apple computers. The devotees are in deep anguish. Such a brilliant, creative human being. He revolutionized so many things and industries. I would like to express my condolences to his family and all those who were close to him. I know they must feel his loss deeply.

Life sometimes seems like such a complicated affair. As human beings we have to negotiate so many things. Responsibilities can really pile up. Between spouses, parents, siblings, children, work, education, health, money, spiritual support, friends and community one wonders how we manage as well as we all do. Taking a nice long walk often helps me to sort things out. The weather is cooling down here in Florida and the ocean breezes are picking up. Perfect weather for solitary walks and thinking things through.
