Yesterday we were swimming in the ocean here in South Florida when we were called out of the water. A very large Sting Ray was swimming gracefully close to shore. We couldn't really be sure if it was a Sting Ray or a Manta but it was big. I'd say about 5 feet across and maybe the same long. I'd never seen a ray so close to shore. Maybe it's more common here then I realize? This photo is not a depiction of the conditions yesterday. This is another photo of a more northern sea.
